Singularly or in small groups they are aggressive to other fish, nipping fins mainly, however, in a large enough group 8+ minimum they are fine, as they spend their entire time chasing each other and dont take notice of other fish.
Had a group of 6. Really turned me off to them, the largest male was so nippy he basically killed all the others. Would come home to see their finless bodies sucked into the filter =/
