Are These Rams ?

So i went to my local pet shop to day to buy some fish and i seen these fish i liked which had a tint of pink i thought they was rams but they was a lot smaller.
 
I asked to buy them and the  shop owner didn't know if they was rams or "miniature rams" which are half of the size of rams and will stay half the size of rams. I have also noticed there eye sockets are different these ones eyes are more out than normal rams.
 

 
 
What do you think it is ??

It is a blue ram, Mikrogeophagus ramirezi, just a very young one.
 
I don't think there is a 'miniature' ram.

I haven't heard of a miniature ram but that one you have is just a young blue ram. Once it settles down and matures it will colour up

For me they look much more like juvenile Mikrogeophagus altispinosa. This is in fact the larger species of rams.
