Are These Compatable

Thats a great question. Is the tank listed at 48x18x12 in LxHxW or LxWxH. Big difference there ;)

When I refer to the letters LxWxH, I usually think of L and W as the footprint of the tank. If those parameters are 48" and 12" for the tank then they should be compatible. If not, you're gonna have trouble fitting a 12" wide hood on an 18" wide tank ;)

If i got my dad to build a stand i could get a bigger tank, do you think i should do this. The stand would be adiquate so it wouldent fall of or crash.
Also anyone know about this site and are the prices fair?

Does anyone have a suggestion on a size, not just the biggest one.
THanks

Once you start getting to 36" and greater lengths of the tank, make sure you have a MINIMUM of 18" width (front to back). Also remember if your water depth is too deep you may or may not be able to reach the sand bed depending on the lengths of your arms ;). Most people can reach the bottom of 18" with ease, but few can reach 24" deep tanks.

Having a look i think i will go with a 60"x18"x18" anyone have any opinions. I think thats 67 UK gallons (correct me if im wrong please) will ask my dad 2morro if he can start the stand. I think thats £144 for the tank and £15 for glass lid. So £159 for a tank and glass lid sounds good to me. If i have any of this wrong can someome please correct me. Because my jewel 120l cost me £204 so this must be wrong.
Thanks
