If I ever get time, I'll finish hooking mine up and tell you how it works. :) Just have to build a manifold to pipe it off the inlet to my canister and include the CO2 inlet as well.

I'm using 2 of the exact same ones on my 75 gallon with Fluval 304 filters and they work great. My tap water seems to develop a film on it. I thought at one time that I had gotten something in my tanks but later found that just a bucket of clean tap water will film over in about 3 days. Anyway, they keep the surface completely clear of any film and will also pull in any floating debris like leaves.

Yep,

I have one too. You have to be a little careful when setting it up, cos you can knock a lot of your co2 out if its set to take a lot of water off the top. Mine is set on the limit of drawing in from the top. Most of the water is drawn from the bottom. It keeps all the scum from the top perfectly. I was using a Hydor Biowheel to clear the surface, but it was too noisy. The surface skimmer is near silent when set up properly. Thumbs up from me :D
