Are ottos nocturnal?

I know that corys are nocturnal and right now I feed them sinking wafers at night so that they can eat in peace without all the other fish bothering them. I would like to get some ottos and am wondering if I can feed them the same way. The other inhabitants of my community tank are gluttons and will eat the bottom feeder wafers as well as the sinking algae wafers.

My ottos (and corys for that matter) are out all day long. I wouldn't worry about the others starving the ottos, they have a knack for finding food and algae tucked away in the smallest space.
