Are My Hermit Crabs Dying? I Need Help!

I own two hermit crabs, and this morning, my two hermit crabs had something that was either a leg, or a shedding piece? I'm really worried! I've kept their sponge full of water and plentiful food! Should I be worried? Or are they ok?

Sorry to hear about you troubles

I just wanted to say; you're not being ignored, it's just that I don't think there's many people who can help you on atm; I'm sure someone will be along in due course.

I'm fairly sure even land hermit crabs need to be able to actually get into their water though. Dropping legs isn't shedding or moulting, that happens all in one piece, so that's not a good sign, I'm afraid.

Hi Lily, just trying to work out what it is you mean, are you saying they've lost a leg or a piece of them? I'm just trying to work out what it is thats wrong and I might be able to advise you a little more.
