hi ,ive been into tropical fish for about 4 month ,i have a 300l tank and fancy having a go at a planted tank after seeing all the ones on here lol

ive got most of the equipment co2 2kg cylinder ,regulator ect ,and im gaining alot of knowledge from this site

most of the fish i have came with the tank when i bought it but are they suitable for a heavily planted tank ?

10 rummy nose tetra

10 cardinal tetra

1 L102 snowball plec

6 clown loach

4 corydoras sterbai

2 peppered corydoras

4 albino corydoras

3 lemon tetra

4 platys

are these fish okay in a heavy planted tank especialy the l102 plec coz hes my favourite lol

the clowns, plec and cories might uproot some plants when they are first put in, but when they get enough roots should be fine. :good:

Edit: click here

"Keep them in a tank with caves, some roots and no plants."

If you plant sttem plants with plecs they tend to uproot them... This can be very frustrating... You spend ages planting then after a short while the bleeps re-arrange for you... :shout:
