I've just put some algae wafers in for the plecos and corys and the danios are having a feeding frenzy. I have only been feeding a little as the tank is new cycled and I dont want to over feed - but now I'm worried I'm not feeding enough

When I put blood worms in the other day they lasted about 15 seconds - and I'm not sure everyone got something to eat; also when I feed flake it doesnt seem to hang around for more than about 30 seconds - so am I under feeding?

See your stocked now.... How are they going?

Most people feed what the fish will eat in about 2 minutes, so might be worth trying that.

Danios are like Coldwater fish, they are always hungry but don't be fooled into giving them more than they need. I have problems feeding my snails some days because of them

Yeah danios are greedy little gits :) because they are surface feeders and fast swimmers they do tend to get the majority of the food as well.

The "2 minute rule" is a pretty good way to go. Just keep a watch on them, they will eat as much food as you put in whether they are hungry or not.

Personally I feed a mix of flake, live food and frozen food. For the flake I tend to only feed a little (they clean it up in less then a minute) but then when I feed live or frozen food it takes them a little longer and they eat a little more then they would normally in two minutes. Because they dont get this every day though (normally twice a week) it sort of evens out. I also occasionaly leave them a day without feeding, to be honest I dont know if this is a good thing or not but it is something that was recommended to me when I first started keeping fish and it hasnt hurt any of the fish I have gkept the last few years.

Overfeeding is normally more of a problem then underfeeding though so dont worry to much about it.
