I am wondering if my cories are nice and plump compared to your guys'
I recently got the giant peppered cories so i am wondering if i maybe need to feed them more.
are there any foods that you guys like to feed them?

Agree on the Fluval Bug Bites. For these medium or large species the bottom feeder Bug Bites. Should you get fry or have one of the pygmy species, the mini Bug Bites work well, but the larger will relish these too. This is the overall best cory food because it contains bugs which are their prime natural food, and it is lower in protein which they need (lower protein I mean, they develop health issues if the foods are high in protein). Another good food is Omega One Shrimp Pellets, these provide low protein too, plus the crustacean which are the cories' second natural food. Not all brands are as good. Frozen daphnia is also good. Frozen bloodworms no more than once a week, if at all.

Thanks i am currently feeding shrimp pellets. Do you think they are a good size?

Love cory's! Hard to tell from the video, but if they're under-sized, I don't think it's by a concerning amount. Especially not if you got them recently.

Female Peppered simply are bigger

Corys really vary in size by species. I have 2 female armatus here, and they are tanks compared to the Corys they share their space with. It appears they always will be, as their tankmates are full adults. You can't compare one species to another for size. Within a species, if they are the same age, you can.
Those aeneus look great.

thanks, they are only 2 years old...
due to the angle it is hard to tell but there is a massive anaeus that i got once.
it's not as large as the massive spotted though

I once had a group of honking big Brochis splendens. A fish club guy brought some friends by my fishroom, and I found one of them staring into the tank and saying he was a failure as a fishkeeper because his bronze Corys weren't even half as big as mine. I was tempted to say the Brochis were baby aeneus, but I chose to be a better person for once, and tell him the truth. I could have had a serious local reputation for growing out bronze Corys....

Technically, they aren't Corys, but close relatives with the same basic behaviour, but several times the size. They are very cool.
