are hybrids more suspectible to diseases? as when i got a disease in my tank recently all my blood red parrot chiclids got it first and were more effected then anything else.

any experiences ????

cheers :good:

I've had bps for a few years, and I've only had 1 get sick.. it was from a baaad store though, so I think it was just weak..

Some people think that if a fish is dyed it will be weaker then a normal fish.. but I really don't know.

i did add some bp's that was what casued it but one survived and one new 1 and 1 adult one died :( . their still all recovering atm so hopefully everything goes alright! (by the way i don't buy dyed fish)

:good:

Yes, sometimes hybrids can be more fragile, but they can also be more hardy... it just depends on the combination ;)
