Are Crayfish

I don't know about all crayfish but mine ate a eye out of my pleco and killed a crab.

Yes. They will attack and/or eat any fish they can catch. Of course, most any larger fish will do the same to most any other fish that is small enough. If you choose to try and keep them with fish, stay away from bottom feeders. But don't be surprised if fish start turning up missing, or hurt. Crayfish will gladly grab at a fish that is too slow, accidentally strays too close, is sleeping or otherwise not paying attention.

One thing crayfish are good at is acting as like their surroundings e.g. a peice of wood or a rock. They are VERY good at keeping still and waiting for a fish to swim right into their mouth. They are noctural, they will eat your bottom dwellers also sleeping fish. I would not advise it, but i guess their are some pritty swift fish. If you put it in a warm water tank, your fish will not stand a chance, they will be VERY active.

Just wondering if crayfish were dangerous as in like eating your fish
Er, yeah!

As has been said in another topic.

Ya, theres no way in hell those bettas will persuade those crayfish to move. If they get too close trying, WHOOP, theres goes a betta and here comes a well fed crayfish.
