Well this morning i had an argument with my boliogy teacher. She was saying they were plants and i said they were inverts. Was i wrong or does she need to re-sit her teaching exams. THanks

Corals are made up of polyps which are INVERTEBRATES each polyp is a seperate animal which is free swimming in it's larval stage, once it settles though it never moves again. Your teacher needs some serios biology lessons
Good greif! Any biologist should know what a coelenterate or cnidarian is, and therefore what a coral is. Get some textbook references and show it to the teacher; for the sake of future students, that sort of a whomping error shouldn't be left uncorrected in a science class.
