Are Clown Pleco'S Aggresive? Territorial?

My friend has a clown plec in a 15 gallon and he has a bristlenose and 3 ottos. They all interact just fune. No aggression whatsoever. And that's just a 15.

I have a female clown pleco that is 2 years old. She is the queen of the tank. She will push my younger bristle nose out of the way from time to time. But never do they fight. They are bother female. once the Clown Pleco is mature the females will get Very plump. I thought mine had something wrong with her. but she is just a healthy happy female.

Here is a side shot of how plump my girl is.

This is an older photo of her with my BN pleco.

She is really hard to get a photo of. All and all they are nice fish. They don't cause too much trouble.

Here is a new photo of her hogging the food.

She was my first pleco. And now I have 3 others of different kinds so I guess she kind of helped me Learn to love them. They are nice plecos. A bit shy but cool. She is a little piggy. I cut back on how many wafers I give her.

Awesome plec snow!! She is a real beaut! I can see why you were worried at first though

i was in my local lfs today, the two clown pleco's i want are kinda different. they seem to have similar markings but one is very light in color and the other one is darker but not dark brown/black with orange? hmm.....
maybe there not clowns? :(

il post up a pic of them soon.

EDIT: spelling.

The flash pleco is black with orange. They are really pretty. The clown pleco will get really light color when stressed. If the substrate is light they will bit a bit lighter too.

If the pleco is striped with orange or yellow it will be small I don't think any large plecos have stripes.

ok, thats good to know, but the one is really lighter than the other, fatter too.lol. i cant wait until my tank is cycled to get the pair. they will be in the tank with 3 peppered catfish as there all placid :)
