Basically will these shoal together or will they recognise the difference and stick to their own kind?
I have 4 false bandits but i am struggling to source any more of these so im wondering if they will mix?

They will know the difference.

They grow to within half a cm of each other and look the same so i thought they might. I just dont want to get two of these and they be left on there own n lonley

But will they shun the others?  My lone "false julli" hangs out with the jullis and the pandas in my tank...  I've got some friends coming, but they are going to be a week later than expected.  He/she doesn't seem too upset, but I do see it sitting alone from time to time, sulking presumably.

He/she will be very happy in the new larger tank with more of its kind.

In my opinion, its better to have multiple species of cories than to have the cories be completely alone.

Meaning its better to have the false bandits with the bandits than the false bandits with no other cories.  I'm not suggesting to have 1 or 2 of a bunch of different cories species.  But, I've seen shoaling fish shoal with others that aren't even the same genus from time to time.  Better to stick closer to the genus, but as they say, "Any shelter in a storm!"
