I brought a twin ip67 controller (one of these) from ebay. The seller had it advertised as "100% condition". When I received it however, the mountings were all cracked and borken. It took 2 months to organise a refund!!
Anyway, now I have the refund I want to know if this kind of damage is common? As part of the refund process, I had to get my LFS to certify the damage. They did this, but also said that these mountings can become brittle/damaged like this, and that the UV from the lights affects the plastic over time.
So before I buy a new one (not ebaying again - it sucks!), I'd like to hear the stories of any owners. Have you had it long? How its going? Does it become brittle? Any problems etc...
