hi guys, just picked up a second hand arcadia luminaire, not sure what type it is though. (it is 120cm long, and has 4x54w t5's if that helps)

now my question is, where the legs fit over the tank, i can see there are small crew like holes (made by arcadia!) one each leg. (2 on each) now should there be a screw that tightens to clamp the leg to the glass? as my glass width is massivley thinner than the gap provided for each leg.

if so where can i get these screws from?

if i tip the luminaire back to do maintenece it just wants to fall back (legs and all) as there is nothing to clamp it to the glass.

yeah there little plastic screws i actually have mine hanged from the roof so if i can find them you can have them for a fiver

do you have any website links? so i can see what they look like?

no just thought you could just use some metal bolts with a bit of rubber im between the bolt and the

and ther just like plastic little bolts

right cheers, i might DIY it then, il have a look into it, if not i will pm you in a few days

i cant DIY this, i need to find the screws from somewhere.

and i cant find the srews why cant you diy it

because
1. they are plastic ones
2. i dont know the sizes
3. special threads needed
4. i cant use metal ones
5. i dont want to ruin the thread if i come to sell on the light, if only i new what they were called i could get googling.

That's the arcadia spares website, dunno if that's of any use to you. If not, it might be worth emailing them. Quite often companies will send out really small parts free of charge, can't hurt to try and blag some!
