I'm planning on replacing a 36" tank I have with a 48*12*15. My LFS guy recommended the Arcadia LEDs when I asked about lighting. I'm planning on a fairly heavily planted tank. Anyone have experience of these?

I took delivery of an Arcadia Classica 11w stretch LED unit last week for one of my 18"ers... fantastic basic piece of Aquria kit.
My first use of LED and I'm looking to get another one for a 2ft'er.
Its great too have easy access to the tank/pumps/heaters/maintainance and no annoying vibrating covers!!! Not to mention the reflections above the tank... nice tranquil effect.
Definately the way to go for me.

Early days as far as plant growth, but the overall effect is much brighter than the sunglow tube the unit replaced.

Anytime Munrocco... other makes/models are available lol I liked the simple basic design and low profile of the Arcadia.
Just to be on the safe side allow for width of your  tank as the extenable supprts only just stretch to the stated width and the unit hangs lower at full stretch.
