Hiya,

Can you give more info on the light that comes with the tank? It's just that you say there's a light but you're also selling a light separately.

Also, can you give me the dimensions of the tank?

Hello

The Arcadia tank comes with an Arcadia Pod (the original light from the tank)
It is about 11W, whereas the other light I am selling is 27W.

The dimensions of the tank are: 40 x 28 x 33cm (W x D x H)

Yours, Andy

Can I ask how you'd post it and if it'd be insured in the event it didn't arrive in one piece?

I'm looking into setting up a shrimp tank and this sounds like it might be ideal. I'm at work at the mo, but when I get home I'll measure up to check it'll fit the space I've got for it :)

I think it is acrylic, not glass - so I don't think there is any chance of it getting damaged. It will be posted via an insured courier. It's in the original packaging so it's just as safe as coming from a retailer. I will of course, however, offer a full refund if it does somehow get damaged in transit, and I will take the matter up with the couriers myself.

Please rest assured that it will be packaged to within an inch of it's life anyway. I have plenty of packaging to ensure it arrives safely.

Edit: although looking at the edge of the glass, it has a green tint like glass. I am not 100% sure, it looks like glass but feels like acrylic. Either way I will cover the cost, should it get damaged.

Andy

Thanks, that's very helpful. I think it'll fit but I'll let you know for sure this evening.

Do you take PayPal?

Yes paypal via gift or bank transfer. I've sold many things on these forums before.

Are you just looking at the tank, and not the 27w light?

Andy

Yeah that is fine. I will hold on to it for you until this evening.

Oh, also meant to ask if it has a lid or it's open topped.

It has a clear glass/acrylic lid that just sits on the top on the silver plastic things. I always used it as an open top tank though.

Heya,

I've just phoned home and got someone to measure it and it's a little on the big side for where I planned to put it. Sorry to mess you around. I'm gutted because it's a beautiful tank. I wish you all the best in selling it.
