Is there a difference between the two? Even small details?

The only things I've noticed is that a different light comes with them both and the fact it has a different trimming at the bottom.

Mainly, my concern is the lid with it's gaps for external devices like a nano external.

Thanks for viewing![/background]

Well all I can tell you is that you wont be able to fit any external filter pipes when using the lid, I beleive some of the Arc tanjs come with plastic lids so you could cut a slot out.

My Arc60 came with toughened glass which could not be cut, so I dont use it due to the external filters pipes.

I think they changed the lighting too.

Oh and my 60 cracked behind the silver clips and leaked everywhere.

Hmm this may cause a problem if I want a betta unless plastic comes with it. I haven't found many tanks with a lid that I like. When I say lid, I just mean a sheet of plastic or glass. Yeah they went from compact or something to ellipse.

There are many companies online that will cut a sheet of perspex to your specification, if that's any help. That's what I had to do with my tank as it was designed as open top.

No thats brilliant thank you. :) Will light penetrate perspex and acrylic okay? Like the same as glass? I know glass is good as it magnifies it..I think anyway. :p
