after quickly deciding the tank Pierce and Shorty shared looked much to small and crowded, i went out and bought a new tank. an Aquaview Plus! it's sort of wedge-shaped and fits into a corner nicely, the air pump is running behind it and it just gives the illusion of BIG! three silk plants are keeping it looking very nice, and the black gravel contrasts totally to everything. and now my bachelor boys have light and heat! Pierce's color took a dramatic change in the light, from a minty green his body turned pink and his fins blue and purple, he's so beautiful. i think he's really happy, he gave my finger fishie kisses when i was letting Shorty into the tank. Shorty wanted nothing to do with the move and puffed up and tried to bite me, but now he's doing a happy frog dance all over his favourite silk plant. the tank came with an air pump, tubing, air stone, undergravel filter plate, hood, light and silk plant. the hood light-from-water seperator thing was broken, a bit of tape fixed that. it's a wonderful tank and both my boys seem to LOVE it to death, Pierce is kissing the bubbles on the acrylic and Shorty is doing his happy frog thing.

=) ammer is happy now that fishie and froggie are happy. just thought i'd share, this is an awesome tank for Bettas, ADF's, a pair of same sex Guppies, or really any two-or-one inch fish that can be kept alone. the strange shape just stands out, and in a corner is looks like a box rather then a wedge.

^^ good tank.

the tank's about a gallon and a half i think, it fits about that much more water than the old tank did and that tank was a gallon tank! it was 17 dollars canadian.

everyone seems to love the tank, even Donny's eyeing it from across the room and my ferret Boo seemed to want to move in!

-loves on-

I like going to things like trash and treasure (I think its a flee market other places) because you can get some preety good new/old stuff for aquariums...also the paper is a good soruce :D

I have one too! $10.00, at Wal Mart. Has red rocks, a red and green plant, and a big shell and still has plenty of room for my betta. He loves it!

I have one of those tanks too. It has white gravel, a silk plant and some glass accent rocks (blue and clear) lined all around the edge of the tank.

One thing I don't like about the tank is that the metal screws on the light hood plate keep rusting out. I sent a complaint to the company and they haven't emailed me back yet. I put some tank sealant stuff on the screws to keep them from dropping any rust into the tank.

the tank comes with an undergravel filter plate, rise tube, air stone, aquarium tubing, air pump and a little marble/plastic/glass-esque 6" green and orange plant. i've got two silk plants, a short leafy red-purple one and a tall green one, as well as black gravel in it and my boys seem to love it. i've heard some bad stuff about undergravel filters but this ones already sucked up all the fallen shrimp.

or maybe Shorty decided he was hungry =)
