The albino frogs are NOT dwarf frogs, but Clawed frogs and will over time most likely eat your fish. The dwarf frogs are the brown kind and are safe with fish.

ooh! well lucky u told me that! thanks lol! looks like tht idea has gone out the window, maybe a gold gourami, 3 clown loaches and 2 angels instead then tee hee! ;-)

What size is your tank? Is it 200L as suggested by your username?

If so then it's nowhere near big enough for silver sharks, clown loaches or a commen plec

Also goldfish are coldwater fish yet all the other fish you are talking about are tropicals.

Goldfish will almost definitely struggle with the oxygen levels in tropical temp tanks. They will grow faster and create more waste causing water quality issues. AND unless it is a fancy goldfish then it shouldn't be in a tank anyways!

Does the tank have a heater?

orite guys, work are havin the goldfish off me on tuesday! :)

and yes the tank has a heater (24C)

Your work having your goldfish is a good start, providing it is going in a decent sized tank?

Silver sharks grow in excess of 12" and require tanks of around 500L
Commen plecs can grow anywhere up to around 18/20" as well as producing mountains of waste so sould be kept in HUGE tanks

okay thanks guys, well when they do grow, im very lucky because i work in a residential care home and in reception, they have a juwel 240 (CW) so they will buy my goldfish off me!

my gran will also buy my trop fish if they grow too big as she has a hugggge home made tank lol! soo im lucky hehe! .x.

Just so nobody reads this later and misunderstands, let me clarify this. Albino aquatic frogs are always the bigger African Clawed Frogs. The brown frogs can be either African Clawed or African Dwarf Frogs. If their "hands" have pointy fingers they are ACFs, but if they are webbed and look more like mittens, they are the little ADFs.

:D

lol to saltynay!

ok thanks inchworm! so ACF will not live well with community trop fish and the ADF will?!

thanks

Thats correct ryan, ADF's stay small and are fine with most fish whilst ACF's get large and will eat and fish smaller than it when it grows.

Make sure the frogs you get have all four feet weebed then its :good:
