Aquatech filters.

I can't belive I haven't thought of this till now. My 10 gallon tanks both have the filter that came with the kit (from Walmart). They are Regent Aqua-tech 5-15 power filters. Is this a good filter or should I look for a different type or brand?

I've used them in the past and had good results, it will work just fine.

Actually Aqua-tech filters are the same filter as the Penguin series, just without a bio-wheel. So you know right there it's still a great filter.

One tip tho, instead of buying new cartridges all the time, buy a AC 200 sponge and cut it to fit the slot where the filter goes. Then all you have to do is rinse it out and it will last you for a few years.
