Fish Fanatic
Hi all,
Finally decided to sell my tank (much to the relief of the missus ) I'm not being devoting as much time as I would have liked and hope it goes to a good home. The sales form is filled as below:
Equipment make-model-size: Aquastart 500 65 litre tank with stand
Age and condition: About a year and a half
Quantity for sale: 1
Reason for Sale: Not enough time and frequent travel
Delivery or Collection: Collection
Sales price: £60
Postage & Packaging: N/A
Location: Swindon, SN2
Photograph: As below
The tank comes with the following:
1. Filter: I replaced the filter to a fluval U3 filter (which costs around £30 by itself) around 3 months back. I still have the old filter which came with the tank but I replaced it since it was getting noisy, working perfectly though for this size tank. Good for a backup filter
2. Heater: This is the one that I purchased when I purchased the tank. This does the job so never bothered to change this
3. Decorations: Comes with a volcano effect rock, bogwood and resin cave which the fish quite like. The ornaments cost me around £30 again
4. Fish: These fish were given to me by my friend, it has a few platties
5. Test Kit: I've used this but I'd imagine you could get quite a few more tests done with it
6. Other: Cleaning equipment (Buckets, syphon, nets), water treatment, some medicine. Also got an lcd heat monitor which is quite useful, has run out of batteries though.
As you can see you're getting a lot for your money and I'm selling this cheap since I need to get this out fast since I have to go on another trip soon. I'm not an expert in these things so anyone picking this will need to advice me on what is to be done. I really don't have much time to spend so I can't get rid of the sand substrate etc. I'll of course try and do water changes as regularly as I can till I can sell the tank
Do let me know if there are any questions and I'll do my best to answer them
