Thats got my mind working overtime, very interesting, I can see the electrical ties and a big drill coming out when I aquascape my lion fish tank :good:

Everyone stand well back

The tendency for most is to do the 'clump of rocks' maneuver. Yuck. That's why I always urge people to read and plan. One of the earliest thoughts to have is what your reef is going to look like. That's also why I liked Paletta's book: he has some reef designs in it.

It really isn't hard to do if you have the idea and...can pick and choose from the rock in the display tank at your lfs. Small PVC tubing is easy to cut and silicone glue/sealer is amazing. In addition, anything you use to hold the rock together will eventually get covered with coralline algae and be invisible per se.

Just say no to clumps.

The only problem I see is being DIY handicaped

Wish me luck

*Ya know I'm kinda of thinking of buy a bunch of rock(not from my lfs)...like 50lbs for my 29. That way I'd have a ton of peices to chose from and could break and drill many different types of pieces.

The hard part is doing it (like I stated, I'm DIY Handicapped).
