Does anyone know if I can get aquarium safe silicone in Home Depot? I am making a sump and want to buy some for the baffles. I know it's available online, but I don't want to wait that long.

Our Wallmart sells aquarium safr silicone rubber. It is with all the other caulking stuff but specificaly say's that it is aquarium safe. I think it was $4 a tube. Don T.
i just used regular 100% silicon from home depot.
i work with alot of chemical in my business and i have found that anything with a solvent like silicone after they are cured they become inert.
meaning the bad stuff that will hurt the fish evaporates.
read the label and smell the "fish safe "silicone compared to the regular silicone they are the same.
Any silicone can be used on aquariums. The one thing you have to be careful of is that the silicone does not have any antifungal things or anti-mold things in it. Many silicones designed for bathroom use has these things on it, but the labels are labeled when they do conain those things.
