I keep reading about putting "a little" salt in betta tanks. I put salt in my livebearer tank, but the instructions say to put so many tablespoons for every 10 gallons. I've got two 2 gallon tanks, a 1.5 gallon bowl and a 1 gallon bowl. How much salt shoud I put in them? How much is "a little"?

You don't have to put any in your Betta tanks, but it has its uses.

Add 1/2 teaspoonful aquarium salt per one gallon of water at most. You can add less if you want to, just don't add more than that.
