anyone know how to calculate the amount of gravel needed for a tank. The dimensions are 36X18. Just curios how many pounds would get me about an inch of gravel.
The old rule of thumb for gravel is to use one pound of gravel for every gallon of water the tank holds. For example, a 10 gallon tank would take 10 lbs. of gravel.
