Aquarium Fertilizer

Hello Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for an aquarium fertilizer? I didn't know if a liquid form is best or if tabs work better? Thanks for the help!

It depends on your plants. Most plants feed through their leaves. I have found success using the line of Flourish products (Excel, Trace, Iron , Potassium, Nitrogen, Original Flourish) I also use the Flourish Tabs for my root feeding plants. The root tabs are also nice as a target fertilizer. A lot of plants (for example Water Sprite) in my tank "suck" up the liquid fertilizer. The root tabs keep the essential nutrients close to my root feeding plants.

Yes, I would use liquid and tabs together for maximum effect.
