Not sure if this is in the right section but here goes. Im looking for a backing for my tank but the problem im having is my tank is 28" tall and 6ft long, and struggling to find one for my tank anyone know any websites or even someone who makes them. Im looking for the double sided one with one side black and one side blue thanks in advance

or, you can "hill" your substrate so it is higher in the back and covers the little "gap" left from too short a back ground.

agree with jenste. slope the substrate and it will hide the difference between the background and the tank size. :good:

Have you thought about painting the back of the tank black or blue?

its defo an option its gonna be a big hill as the neares i can fint is 24" high

My other tank is 30" tall i could not find a background to fit at all anywhere, so i used bin bags to hide the wires etc(it didnt look as bad as your thinking, if its done well  ) just another tempory option.

Hilling or sloping the subtrate might work, but depending on what fish you put in there they might change that for you!

Use poster board, I found some 2/$1 at a dollar store, you can layer two and it doesn't look too bad if you cover the layer up nice with plants

Go to a printer and buy some PVC /vinyl printing substrate which they use for printing banners etc.Strong waterproof will last for years and comes in huge rolls so cutting 6ft is no problem. Might even get cheap offcuts!

You could buy two backgrounds of the same material and overlap them near the bottom where the seam wouldn't be so noticable.
