Aquamedic Chromis Lighting

Just bought a aqumedic chromis cube for my first marine reef setup which is 55x55x55cms and i need a clamp on metal halide, i have seen this on ebay but its only just under 10 inches long will it be big enough to give me a full spread of light in my tank. thanks steve

Usually dependant on reflector 150W/ 250W halides are good for a 2 foot cubed area. (600mm)

Some others are available with legs if that would be a better option, dont know of reliability and guarentees etc with ebay ones!

seen on afew forums where people have bought them and they said they are top quality but they didnt mention what size tank they where using so was just wondering if the light was big enough really. thanks steve
