Aquamanta EFX 200 replacement

First time posting!!
I have an EFX 200 but when I changed the filters this week it has been a complete pain - to start with I couldn’t get it to work so cleaned the propeller, then it wouldn’t prime then it leaked everywhere. Thought I’d sorted it but 2/3 days later it’s leaking again. So I’m thinking it needs replacing?!
I’m not sure what I’m looking for but need something for an 80L tank any replacement suggestions please and thank you

To be honest, the EFX 200 sounds like a good fit for your tank... Are you looking for a cheaper alternative or just any good replacement?

Hmm... It's a big upgrade and pretty costly, but maybe the EFX 400 could work... I've got that for my 170L and the water quality is crystal clear. Nitrite and ammonia both at 0.00ppm even without water changes after my ICH outbreak.

Having no experience with tanks as small as yours, I'd suggest a principle to go by, not a filter. Select a company that's well-known, with American-based customer support. Heavily review the unit you select, both good and bad opinions. That way you'll have a clear picture of what you're buying.

Thank you - I took the seal off, cleaned it and reseated and so far so good!
