aquaclear u tubes

what do u guys use to clean the aquaclear u tubes.......i cant seem to find a brush that will make the bend

good ol' water pressure works magik on that gunk

I don't worry about mine unless they start getting really bad. Then I push a piece of paper towel into it as far as I can and put it under the faucet so that the water pressure can push it the rest of the way through. Just take care not to pack it in too tightly. It will push most of the gunk out along with it.

when the water pressure isn't enough to get the gunk, i go to the craft store and pick up a packet of the thick pipe cleaners. they make some that are the perfect width for aqua clear tubes, and they bend easily enough to make it through. works great, and i can get a packet of about 5 of them for $1 US which lasts me forever as i just clean off the one i've used and use it until it starts to get a little scraggly looking. cheap and easy solution
