Well i wish to purchase a aqua vital hob filter as its the only HOB in the UK, but no one stocks the media for this thing! Even the seller...Maybe someone can help me out? Or does someone have this filter? If so how does it perform?

Just why do you want a HOB?

Have you checked one will fit on your tank as most tanks in the Uk are not designed to take these.

Eheim do a HOB filter in the UK.

Also HOB filters are very good mechanical filteration.
