I would steer clear of it. Anything that says "stabilizes pH" scares me. If it has an effect on pH it is dangerous. Once the tank is cycled and settled, changes in pH are probably the most dangerous thing you can run into other than major problems like power failures. There really is no substitution for regular water changes. To me, using this is like just taking you clothes off every day and sticking them in the dryer with a new dryer sheet. They may smell good but they will still be dirty.

Yeah I would stay away. I bought some when I first started out, but spoke to someone who said they had dealt with loads of tank problems, alledgedly caused by this stuff and similar
