Posted before, still seeing if anyone has heard of this:

Has anyone heard of this? I saw an AquaTech Regent 5 gallon Acrylic Hex tank at Wal Mart yesterday with a BioWheel filtration system in it. Get this, it was only $29.97!!!!

In the picture, it looks EXACTLY like Eclipse's 5 gallon Hex system. :D

Anyone familiar with this setup?

Thanks!

No, I'm not familiar with that filter but if it's a bio-wheel, it's the best, imo. (though I think I'm in the minority on that here so take it for what it's worth. :D )

$29.97 doesn't sound like all that great of a deal tho. Is that how expensive small filters are nowadays? I can get a Emperor 400 from BigAls for $29.

I think she meant she got the whole thing for 29 bucks......

I agree, its the best biological filter combo, the filter media isnt top class but the oxygen factor more than makes up for it IMHO

Yep, it was $30 for the whole thing (hex). A slightly bowed 5 gallon was $40 with the same filtration system.
