Has anyone here had any first hand experience with the Aqua One canister filter range? All product reviews seems to say that it is a great filter. I am specifically looking at the CF-1000 and CF-1200 filters.

Thanks,

very good entry level cannister.

A bloke I with said he has seen one in action. Said its sooo quiet you'd think it wasn't switched on. An excellent filter by all accounts.

I would have to say that the aqua one canister range is excellent, and well worth its money. About a year and a bit ago, i had an internal on my 180L, and it did do its job, but gunk was hanging down the bottom... leaving me to clean it up every two days.

I went to my lfs in search for a solution, and i was served by a staff member. She suggested to me that i should look into the aqua one range (CF-700). Sp i did, and she sad that it would be good for what i want it to do. So i bought it, set it up and turned it on...

Its the best filter you can buy if your a beginner! You get more 'bang out of your buck' if you buy an aqua one, compared to a fluval or eheim ( and no i am not saying that aqua one's are the best. They are up there.. But what i am trying to say is that if you are a beginner, and you want a good cannister filter that will not cause trouble, you should try the aqua one range out...)

but honestly, i have had no major problems with mine. I would buy another without any hassles if i were to upgrade... Hope that helps :good:
