I've mentioned on another thread that I have been given an Aqua one AR320 28L tank.

Is there any reason why I cant put my fluval 3plus internal filter in it and turn the flow down?

It is the same width and depth as the 1 & 2plus, just the height as far as I'm aware.

The tank will house a betta plus shrimp

i think the fluval might be a touch on the tall side
i have got both and looking at it looks a bit tall
i thought that the 320 came with an U/G filter
i have a HOB on mine but you have to modify the hood
at the back

I've stood it inside and If I have it just below the gravel level it fits(just).

The tank does usually come with an underground filter but it was lost during the person moving house.

i have an ar 320 and its far to small to stand a fluval 3+
if you put the gravel in it will be real tight it will be just measured it
your filter is ten and a quarter inches and about eleven inches in the tank
it will be very tight

good luck the biffster

I'm thinking it would probably be like a washing machine and a Betta would hate that sort of current.

I had a tiny filter in mine but eventually changed the tank for the AR380 which is slightly bigger but had the canopy trickle filter system.
