Hi, powecompacts are meant to be good up to 18 inches? so this means on the 72cm aqua one 620 they will be useless? or are there any corals that can survive in the murky depths of the ocean (bottom of this fish tank anyway)?

Also, if the above is a 'no', would a valentini be interested in the huge height or put off by the small length and depth of the tank? The reason I'm asking is because a FOWLR would be easy to set up if the tank really can't support corals.

Also if anyone has a web page or know anything about this tank it would be great, atm I have found one website which has basically, the dimensions

thanks

you could have some mushrooms and maybe zoo's if you position them properly at the top hlaf of the tank some of the softies might be ok in there

OMG 200 posts didnt realise i said that much lol

i have the 620 (not tall) and i tseems eally bright. Try to get in contact with maidenfan he/she has one and loads of corals :good:

hi guys

yes i'm running the 620t tank please check out my thread rather than me hijacking this one

i'm a he :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

but in short i'm using the standard aqua one t5 blue and white tubes, my hood has 2 of the 9 inch type

i know some of these tanks are fitted with the longer t8 lights

most softies like mushrooms, leather, star polyps should be fine i've just added a xenia which i know needs more light so will see how it goes but is pulsing away at the moment

i know my tank is a little tall compared with the normally shorter tanks but i like the look of space it gives me.

hope this helps
