aqua medic skimmer problem

hi, After turning on my skimmer for the first time i have found that there is a constant drip coming from the base of the skimmer?? does this happen on ne 1 elses?? If so how have you stopped it?

I have an aqua medic biostar flotor skimmer, is this the one? I did have a drip when I first started it up, but just needed to push the plastic lid down more firmly to cure it.

I had bigger problems keeping the pump attached to the glass with the supplied suckers. I came home once to find about three inches of water had been sprayed out of the tank. I sorted this by changing the suckers for spares supplied by fluval for thier external pump (*04 range) pipe brackets.

Also, the bio wheel gets very annoying after a couple of weeks as it creakes it way around

oh man i hope the wheel dont start doing that on mine! Anywayz i think i have sorted it now. the drip has stopped and it looks ok
