Here we have my Aqua Medic 1000 reactor which has been used inline on my aquarium for 9 months. (see my other sale of the rest of my CO2 kit).
The reactor came with some rubbish 'bio balls' which i binned and replaced with £15 worth of siporax - the best quality media available. This just adds to the bacteria colony within the filtration process.
The reactor comes with a mount, which can be seen in one of the photos. I have cut the base plate so that it can fit flat on the wooden frame (10 points to who ever can work out how they designed the thing to be used!!). The reactor is then just popped into the round clips.
The RRP of the reactor is £60+, and then there is £15 of siporax in it. Total cost of £75. Sale price £40
In perfect condition - both nozzles and the air bleed are in perfect condition....no cracks or anything.
