The Aqua Marin 900 aquariums are available in three main variants: Fresh, Planta, and Pro. Each variant is designed to cater to specific needs and preferences. Here's a breakdown of the differences:

1. Fresh:
Purpose: Designed for fresh water aquariums.
  • Features: Includes a standard filtration system, lighting, and heater suitable for freshwater environments.
  • Ideal for: Fish species like goldfish, guppies, and tropical fish.

2. Planta:
  • Purpose: Optimized for planted aquariums.
  • Features: Equipped with enhanced lighting to support plant growth, a stronger filtration system to handle nutrient-rich water, and a substrate designed for plant roots.
  • Ideal for: Aquascapers and those who enjoy lush, planted setups.

    3. Pro:
  • Purpose: A premium option for advanced aquarists.
  • Features: Offers a more customizable and powerful filtration system, advanced lighting options, and a larger capacity for fish and accessories.
  • Ideal for: Experienced hobbyists with demanding setups, such as large fish species or complex reef tanks.

Ultimately, the best choice for you depends on your specific needs and preferences. Consider factors such as the types of fish or plants you want to keep, your level of experience, and your budget when making your decision.
