Aqua Clear Filter

Hello everyone,


I am setting up a new tank tonight and as i was filling my tank i forgot the filter was on and i ended up getting sand in the filter and now it won;t work. The spinning blade will not spin.

Any sugestions?? would really HELP

Remove the motor from the filter--make sure u do this over bucket.
Take out the propeller...maybe some got in there?

Hey,

Yes i did that, cleaned it all out and it will kind of spin then get caught again. So i am still stumped, maybe its just dead now!

you might also want to try and use a turkey baster when you clean it out and really flush out the filter I have had to do that several times to mine as my JD is always kicking sand into the filter.
