I didn't buy this pleco but took it in because his tank he's been in for 10+ years gave way and my 240L was better than nothing in an emergency.

He (or she) is about 6" long and at least 10 years old. Very aggressive around food but that could be because he's only shared his tank with an albino red tailed black shark for the last 2 years. He is now in with my common plec and apart from a few head buts all is well now. they just ignore each other. This is a picture I was able to grab. Ordinary pleco but a different colour maybe?

Shape and colour would indicate a leucistic common pleco, but 6 inches is far too small at 10. My Pterygoplichthys pardalis is 25cm at 5yro (ex small tank rescue) and most other "common" plecos grow even larger still.

funnily enough I thought about that too. Had a leucistic sparrow coming for a while and its very odd. He is definitely over 10 but I don't know how much by. There is no history before 10 years. He was given to his previous owner in lieu of payment for job that was done.
