Apple Snails

I wana get a apple snail but my PH is at 6.8 not sure if its at the 7 end though damn colour charts anyway would it be fine all will its shell corrode ?

for the tang setup?

your PH should be higher if it is for tangs and they will probably kill it when they get older

My ph is around 6.5 and I up it to 6.8/7 and my apple snails thrive, admittedly in their tank I have lots of shells and add calcium when doing a water change.

But I've not had problems and they breed regularly, currently got 8 lots of eggs on the go.
