I never even bought this snail it came on a plant and now the orginal is like a monster the thing is EVERYDAY i see new babies at this point there are like 10 in there , do ppl's LFS usually take them in trade like they do other fish?

I don't wanta kill me but they are gonna overun my tank

Some will, some won't. It's definately worth a call to your LFS.

I too am hesitant to "get rid" of them in any other way than the tank in habitants eating them of giving them to my LFS.

I read that before and that is where I decided I have apple snails, can I ask why you didn't think they sounded like apple snails?

Apple snails aren't usually the type of snail that you get coming in on plants. Usually they're pond snails or something similar.

Also, apple snails lay their eggs above water, so you'd know if they have laid eggs or not. Look around the tank, see if you can see any kind of eggs around. Also a pic of the snail would help id if, if you're able to.
