Apple Snails Digging

I just got some apple snails today and added them to my tank i have a sand substrate and they just seem to be digging into it? i was told they would be ok on sand is this the case or do i need to move them into my pee gravel tank ? all info would be apreciated

Hi there,

My apple snail used to dig every now and then, especially when first settling in (also released annoying mucous which bound patches of sand together - euch! , but it was harmless and never lasted long)...

So should be fine!

Just doing snaily things.

my snails are doing that stuff now hahaha think thats why the fishies are attacking around them lol
