I don't have a massive algae problem but with having no live plants I do tend to get spots of green algae around the glass - I am always able to clean this off during my weekly maintenance schedule but do have some difficult hard to reach spots (behind filter intake etc).
I though I would buy a snail or two just to give me a helping hand (I know cleaning is my responsibility), I dont think I get enough algae for a Zebra snail but the only other snail I can find at my LFS is an Apple Snail.
Will these help out? - they look pretty cool anyway so will probably just buy one or two regardless.
