I had a large apple snail (2-3 inches) and then got a smaller one (about half an inch). The larger one looks like it is eating the smaller one, or like it is taking a ride on it's shell. The gastropod of the large one is on top of the shell of the small one. The small one is moving around as normal, just with the large one on riding on it. Is this okay? What can I do to prevent this? Also is there a way to add an attachment? I have a picture

It is ok... they ussually do that... My pond snails go ride on each others backs! It may be a sign of breeding!!! more or less... be ready for some little snails!! :)

my apple snails do this all the time. its mating behavior. dosent matter if they are both male either as mine are. they go at each other almost every day.
