I just got a yellow apple snail, Leonora Whitstand Merril (don't ask), and I'm wondering what to feed her besides algae disks, flakes, etc. I know they like to eat aquarium plants, but this tank only has fake plants because I am the master of killing plants. What kind of fresh veggies or leafy greens could she eat? I eat Kale and Spinach like crazy; could she have a small piece of either if it is unseasoned and boiled? Any suggestions would be great; also, is there anything dietarily that could promote a good strong shell? I know water has a lot to do with it, but it'd be great if I could feed her something for it too.

Nothing eh? Not even a link? I've read various things about it, but I was hoping someone with experience could tell me so I won't get led astray.
