Apple snail died!!!

I have an apple snail in a tank with my betta. He died on the weekend and i did a water change immediately. Will my betta die too??

What can i do??? I don't want to loose my betta i've had him for 2 years!

Sorry about your loss. I don't know what to tell you. I have never had good luck with snails, I have had three, now. Their deaths never seemed to have a correlation to other fish mortality. Good luck!

Mine never last much longer than 6 months. I think they are up there in age by the time we buy them in our LFS. I doubt your Betta will die, unless he is acting different than usual.

Its an old wives tale - a dead apple snail will not take the rest of your tank with it
